I am rather disappointed this year. Is it because of the judge or is everyone
just pooped out after Nationals? Hopefully I'll find something to buy to make
it worth the time.

I don't post often, but thought that I would for this topic.
Majors are getting harder and harder to find. Everyone talks about wanting the
number of dogs to go up. (But) even with only needing 12 dogs for a major, so
many shows fall short.
The shows in Cleveland this year are not majors. The numbers are Thurs. 5-3
(2-0), Fri. 8-5 (1-1),
Sat. 9-10 (2-1) Sun. 9-9 (1-1). I know this is an AB show, but still the entry
is bad. You talk about non-quality dogs entered in a show. I have entered
some of my dogs, that I know are not show dogs , and I know they are not going
to win, but I do this to ensure that my club has a major. So raising the
numbers will not help everybody, unless more people support the shows. Both
Speciality and AB shows.
