You both said it all. I was lucky in getting some awesome dogs from my
breedings and due to financial reasons I decided to quit breeding for
awhile.. ( I was very fussy where my pups went and kept a few too many). Now
I hesitate to breed as there are so many dogs out there ending up in rescue.
I have looked at getting a rescue but you know I still want that beautiful
show quality dog... Even if I dont show it..I could show it but might not
breed it. Now is that ego or what? At my age not sure I want to chance my
puppies going to homes that arent the best.
