I don't agree. You can find enough shows where no one enters, bring four
dogs and after enough time, get 15 points and finish them all.
There was a time when it took more dogs to make a major, but today they are
just as hard to find, and therefore it makes it more meaningful to finish with
two majors. You don't imporve something by making it easier, you improve
by making the challenge harder.
I understand that in Canada they don't require majors, but look at the
population as opposed to the United States. The AKC keeps adjusting the point
count. As there are less majors, they lower the count. When there are too many
they raise the requirements.
It is the same challenge as always, you just finish the shows earlier.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
