The fall specialty, held in conjunction with an all-breed show in VA, is called
Bare Bones Specialty now.

Ooops...I haven't been in a couple of years...they must have gone to 4 days
recently. Makes sense, with the entry..... they've run 2 rings at a time for
years, tho. I have some great memories (and stories) of the early LRCP
specialties........
The club DOES have another specialty, called the "No Frills Specialty,"
which is in the fall...and while the entry is not nearly so large as the spring
show, it is still a good sized show.

Conformation judging is on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. 4 days
of judging! And, they run two conforamtion rings at the same time. For this
show, handlers hire additional assistants to cover their entries because they
could be in two different rings at the same time. And, yes it it outdoors.
They show in the rain, too. Last year, they had a thunderstorm on the last
day and had to stop the judging until the storm and high winds passed.
Yes, it is the largest Labrador show in the World. And, it is fun.
