I understand there are some people who think the National should never be on one coast or the other, since a central location allows most members to get to it. On the other hand, I think the largest percentage of members are in California. The key to the National is to make it successful for the club, the members, and the dogs. Maybe not in that order. I will show up no matter where they hold the show. If it is local, I will show three or more dogs. If it is hard to get to, or not set up for dogs, I will not show a dog. If it is a short trip I will bring a dog with me. While I do agree, it is all about me, the board will have to consider the entire membership and the breed. They continue to balance the factors, and I have faith they will continue to do so in the future.
