I'd watch out for those hard plastic balls.  We had one and no dog  liked it 
until Rags and she loved it.  Kept trying to pick it up with her  teeth.  We 
finally looked at her mouth one day and were horrified to see  how she had worn 
down her canines on this hard plastic ball.  Needless to  say, the ball 
disappeared.  Now it is strictly kongs.
