Carolyn, I agree with you 100% and if I could give a "rec" for your post I 
would! And what the heck is a Panda Shepherd?? Surely something came out of the 
woodpile somewhere to cause all those white markings. And they are butt ugly. 
Hopefully, they are a disqualification in the GSD standard.

I hope there is no misunderstanding. I have absolutely no interest in designer 
breeds and not so happy about mutts exhibiting in AKC performance events w/o 
proof of neutering. Now AKC is for pure bred dogs (sometimes;))

OTOH, I know many mixed breeds who are absolutely charming and wonderful pets. 
When I first started grooming, I saw so many Benji want-to-bes. Some were big, 
some were small, most had rotten temperaments. And now, I never see them 
anymore. I say yea for the purebred dogs, and even more for the carefully, well 
bred purebred dogs.
