That could be a great thread for everyone ESPECIALLY if breeders would share 
their 
experiences from the past and what worked well.  
How did you choose your foundation bitch 
Was she an outcrss, line bred, inbred
Were her most successful litters line bred, inbred, outcrossed 
What determined which stud (s) were used
What improvements were made
Did you choose another bitch that produced better, not as well 
One does not have to use names unless one wants to praise 
certain dogs/bitches of the past.  

Whose first?
