Hi Kathy;
I don't think many serious breeders of ANY Breed keep animals for breeding with
serious faults...and certainly don't spend the money and time trying to show
them In any serious competition.
I can't even figure out how a "flat footed" " bad tempered" "health stricken"
dog could possibly be an AWESOME conformation type? Most of us would discard
that dog from ANY breeding....let alone breed INTO a DQ or "lifted"
DQ and now a serious fault to correct it???
Most of us don't want the Standard to allow more faults back in for that very
reason. Lets not make it EASIER to show faults....but more difficult, if we
really
want to maintain our awesome Breed. That IS the point of this split in
opinions!
