[ SHOWGSD-L ] Breeding issues, overcoming the problems.

Those who attended the after show program at the VA shows last week heard
about the problems, and unfortunately it seems to be becoming a real
problem, of breeding in the GSD breed.
From males that wont breed naturally, to bitches who, regardless of
progesterone and smear results, simply wont swell and cant be bred other than
artificially, to breeders who have absolutely no luck with Artificial
Insemination.
I am curious to hear how many are experiencing this. According to Helen
Gleason, a top reproductive specialist told her that well over 70% of the
breeding stock is suffering from one issue or the other.
