"I myself don't breed (yet). But it was an after thought kind of thing. If you put all your pups, pets or show, on limited reg and co-ownership, to make it that much more difficult to breed them without your knowing about it. It was just a thought. - Jackie" I had a neighbor that bred his "pets" for years and sold the puppies without papers. You can have all the contracts and stipulations you want but if these people want to breed the dogs they do. About the only way you can control the breeding aspect is to hang on to the dogs and spay and neuter them before selling them to pet owners. Most people want young puppies and personally I won't put a baby through that operation. I haven't produced that many puppies, but I know of only one person who bred a puppy I sold, and he OFA'ed her first and called me to ask who I thought was a suitable sire for her. I guess I've been lucky, I've heard bad stories from friends who haven't had the same luck. Sheri Chambers P.S. Can anyone tell me when the Albuquerque shows start next weekend? I want to go watch the shows. Thanks. ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2006.
