So much depends. There are reasons for absorption, and or still births.
Some are as simple as infection some are more complexed. If you clear an
infection and she whelps a live litter with no Progesterone supplements or
thyroid support then I see no reason not to treat an infection... It has
nothing to do with fertility genetically!
It would be like saying, the dog got a skin infection. Spay or neuter it
but Oh wait the poor thing was crawling with flees. Once you get rid of
the parasites wala.... no more infections, it might take an antibiotic to
clear it up but flee infestation has nothing to do with a dog genetically ....
that is a care issue. ( and I know it can happen to the best of us)
