This is the problem.? There is no genetic marker to find out if the sire or dam
are carriers.? They don't have to actually have EPI to pass it on.? And, at the
moment, it seems hit and miss.? There?are no known specific lines identified at
this point.? It seems very random which is why research is so critical to find
out how it works and how to prevent it.
