The bigger question is who's breeding "rules" are we going to follow? The
nice thing about this country, with all due respect to German Afficianados,
as we have German bitches, is that I get to make MY breeding decisions
(speaking collectively here)...not someone or an organization telling me
what I must to to meet their standards of acceptance....the
problem being....many right now LACK standards (NOT JAMIE, NOT AT ALL, OKAY,
SO DON'T EVEN GO THERE) but in general.....who is going to tell us 'How" and
when we may breed, and with what breeding pairs. Some of the biggest in the
industry with some of the most recognized names, are also some of the worst
offenders...so then what?
Keep the Breeder's Code VOLUNTARY......reward it if you must for signers,
but don' t badmouth or negate or disallow membership or entitlements in the
club for those who follow a different path....and successfully so.
