Yikes !!
Guess I was being too subtle with the earlier sow's ear/silk purse post.
Or even the post that reminded us all that going to court is sometimes like
falling into a molasses lake.
It is very hard to swim out of a molasses lake.
You certainly gotta love lawyers when they make it simple for the rest of us.
Now why didn't we think of that ???

In order to enforce a signed agreement between two parties when one of the
individuals reneges, refuses, denies and/or renounces, we will need to go to
court.
Mercy, I am so happy now that none of my children decided to grow up to be Ford
van dealers, diamond merchants or veterinarians......
Praise God, I have a couple of lawyers in the family.

Could we have some facts? I don't believe us having a weak breeder's code

labs. What kind of change did they make to their code to cause the

We have been in the top five of the most popular breeds for years. It has
to do with the quality of the dogs, not the popularity of a code, or the
people who do or don't sign a code. Make it too restrictive and no one will
sign
it. Make is short and more people will sign it. Either way, it won't change
or
modify the ethics of the people doing the breedings.
It is time to stop blaming ethics on the rules, and put the blame where is
belongs, on the people who are doing the breedings. No contract is going to
change that, unless you want to sue them to enforce it.
