I didn't say anything about being my dog's guardian. I was referring to
being a guardian of the breed...somone who takes the time and effort to
ensure they produce a dog that matches the standard...not a back yard
breeder churning out puppies with little regard to quality or health. I
think the term guardian is throwing the AR's terms right back on them. They
have the general public believing "breeders" are bad, exploiting dogs for
profit, just churning those puppies out and sending those they don't sell
into animal control. Just looking for a way to distinguish us from the
people who fit their concept of "breeders".
