Thank you Zoe and Stormy! I am trying here!!
I hear you but I am still trying to understand........ :-(
If there is one unchanging breed standard (that has always existed) than why
does the breed look different in the show ring at different points in time
(throughout the years)? Wouldn't the GSD look the same now as in the 1960's?
If there is one standard that does not change than why have the dogs changed
throughout history?
Does that mean the breed standard has gone through several revisions (like a
rulebook)?
