Had to send out a brag. This weekend was a fantastic weekend at the Rocky
Mountain GSD Specialty Show. As was already posted by Candie Zumwalt, I had
the great privilege of handling the WB, BOW and BOB. This was my first time
handling a dog that took the points, so of course was also the first time I
handled the dog that won BOB. What a high!!
To top off the day, my 10 month old boy Oak Ridge Tanzanite 'N' Topaz a.k.a.
Logan won Best Puppy.
Thanks to judge Jerry Graham for all his assistance and patience with a
novice handler. He gave some great advice and really gave me the chance to
make the dogs shine. Thanks to the other handlers out there for helping me.
Also, thanks to Val Manning and Carrie Smith. As always, being the best
mentors any newbie could ask for and a huge help. Finally, thanks again to
Candie for letting me handle such a gorgeous dog.
