I lookeds this up after your e-mail and find we have belonged for 5 years at
least and used to give $750 but am not sure about 2007 of course as we do not
have financials.

Actually... what the Board MIGHT have done.. and I'm not privy to their
thinking or the motion... was JOIN NAIA, which is $100. Let's hope they
revisit and donate, thinking of a larger amount and maybe the four I suggested?
NAtional groups, because state and local groups are desperately in need of
donations, but so many out there, it would be impossible this year to pick and
choose. Last year with CA, it was one big fight... this year, HSUS went for 34
different states, all HSUS sponsored bills!
"Our" group is holding some in reserve so that some worthwhile causes in local
groups can be helped, but not large amounts. And not just dumped in a
bottomless pit.

Group seminars every year at the Rose City Cluster and this helps
with the income.
Surely this parent club could do as well as that.
