Chris you are correct, but for reasons I stated in my last post I think it is
correct to put Denver in the central...of course we could go back to having
Nationals in states that touch oceans...oops I had better stop because I'm
getting close to the three "No Nos" that I no longer discuss in public...I
remember when I was a new Football fan in 1967...the Atlanta Falcons played in
the NFL "western" division...and the St. Louis Football Cardinals played in the
East....go figure that one.....I now understand why that was done..one more day
and you folks get rid of me..lol...FB

let me get this right..3 out of 4 national sites have the word "west" in
their definition, and the majority of exhibitors( not club members, but
actual exhibitors who provide entries for the National) typically live east
of Kansas City, MO and the state of Texas. Historically, even though the
numbers of members might be large in some western states, such as CA, WA
and OR..in total it cannot compare with the numbers of all of the states
east of KC. Add to this that the states that embody the NW, MP,SP, SW( in
some cases) and others west of the Rockies never seem to be able to enter
and exhibit the number of dogs that are typically entered and shown in the
MW, SE, SW( in some cases) and GL, MA and NE regions.I use these
geographical terms also to point out that futurity numbers also support my
"entry" theory. with airline travel being as it is, it seems extremely
logical to ask the majority of members who show the greatest number of dogs
to fly across the nation with fewer dogs so that we can have a national
with a smaller entry. If I ever decide to start my own business, I want to
use these same type of logistics..it is a certain recipe for
success.LOL!.Also, since airlines are becoming ever more restrictive, and
flights and lay overs are becoming fodder for the news on a daily basis,
and gas at 3.00+ a gallon being a great incentive to consider driving 20+
hours so that you might be able to bring more dogs to provide a better
entry , we are witnessing common sense at its highest level. So at the end
of the day, I can see how it is again quite logical that another "western"
site should be chosen in 3 out of 4 years. Moral of the post: You can't
argue with insanity, so don't try, I already know I am nuts.

not within driving distance for me. This will mean having to fly four years
