OK, rumor has it:
1.) There was a closed session this morning to discuss rapidly settling
the M. Golant law suit. Rapidly???? :-)
2.) The GSDCA is going to breach it's contracts re: Lexington, KY
Nationals in 2011 & 2013 (Centennial) and the Denver National in 2012.
3.) Ken Downing has arranged for a new Centennial National site for 2013
in his home state of Kansas....near no major airport hub.
4.) The GSDCA National Site Chairperson has been relieved of his/her
duties.
These were pretty good, but there are some more rumors, that I heard:
Tish is going to divorce her husband and has made plans to run off with
Doug Crane.
Ken Downing got hair implants, and challenged Carmen to a hair duel.
They are reducing the board to four members, and they are Bob Eaton, Fred
Miglore, Helen Fisher and Dave Rinke. But, they aren't going to allow Dave
Rinke to vote, so there won't be any ties.
They are raising the cost of nominating a litter to $4,000.00. The plan was
that all they need is one litter to be nominated each year.
They agreed to increase the Futurity regions to 50, so each state could
hold a show.
The board voted to change the standard to resolve the problems of locked
hocks. From now on all dogs will be required to have locked hocks to meet the
standard.
Flower Boy was elected to a new position on the board, and will be in
charge of approving all future marriages, with his being the first.
The board voted to nominate only one person to judge the national next
year, and to eliminate the voting for anyone else. All three positions will be
done by Evan Ginsburg, who agreed, so long as the entry remains less than
12.
The board is going to add a new title for anyone who goes Best In Show. It
will be known as the "Harley" and the title will be Select. Not to be
confused with Select Excellent, which will remain only a Parent Club title.
I heard that all while I was sound asleep last night.
