I end up on lots of conference calls. On some of the calls, all participants
can join in (a true conference call), on others, we are asked to jot down our
questions that pop up on a side bar after the presentations. Another type of
call is when we’re all muted except for when we are asked questions that relate
to one of us… then we can be involved for the time that it’s needed. Then
we’re muted again.
In this day and age, it’s sort of silly not to be able to attend meetings
through our devices.
Of course, I love Hangouts, a Google product in which I can talk and see all my
family at once….sorta. You can have interactive meetings with it, too.
FaceTime, Hangouts. Skype… so many ways to communicate now. No need to remain
in the dark ages unless that is your preference…. or the preference of the
meeting organizer.
Now I need to go tutor my 91 year old brother about how to post comments to one
group, but not others :-)

I just finished a call in to the Indiana Federal Court.
I have a products liability case I filed in San Francisco. It was immediately

We had a Status Conference yesterday. There were six lead attorneys for
plaintiffs and four for defendant Bio Med. The rest of us attorneys "little
people" were allowed to call in, but we were all put on mute. You heard who
joined, (about 100 of us), but although we were not heard, we were able to
listen in on the hearing.
Maybe the parent club should do it the same way. I doubt we could be heard
at the board meeting. I still don't know the time, but if I can get some free
time, I will try to call in.
