Hi Helen: I don't know about the 60's, but in the 70's I lost my first
show dog to bloat. He was about 2 1/2 years old and out of GV Scorpio
ex Lance dtr. It seemed that the Scorpio lines were having a problem
with this condition including Scorpio himself. I don't have percentage
numbers for other dogs during this era. This is a very awful death for
the dogs. I never want to have see one of my dogs ever experience this
