Yes, it would be good to put the First Aid kit items on the List again.? I have
a travel kit for the dogs in my RV and a whole cabinet of items in the house.?
But, it always seems I am missing the one thing I need when I need it.
The vets use GasX for bloat so I guess that is a good thing to have handy.? If
the puncture instrument is a trocar, that is normally used in sheep and
cattle.? I could tell you where to puncture one of them for bloat but would be
terrified to puncture my dog.? If anyone has used a feeding tube for pups, the
tubing for bloat is the same thing but a lot more difficult?on a large adult
dog.? I would tube my dog if there was no other option.??

I probably wouldn't either, Sheila. But for those who are more able than I,
having this kit around could be good. A while back (a long while, if I'm
remembering right) there was a informative thread on first aid kits with which
to travel and to have handy in the house. Seems there was "GasX" or something
like that, and i'm remembering some form of a "puncture" instrument? Am I
remembering right, Listers?
Maybe we need to be reminded again of what to have handy. Not only for
Bloat.
