Kathy -
there is nothing wrong with making money - I think this club could do a far, 
far better job marketing and raising money.
But that does not mean we have a class specifically for animals with a 
specified fault.
They could set up a long coat celebration and do all sorts of things if they 
want the people to bring their coats. Maybe some would also enter the regular 
classes. 
We can make money AND make people understand what the GSD standard is and why 
it is important. Otherwise just do away with it and open op to all who want to 
call themselves GSDs.

Thank you Todd, I agree absolutely.
This is a time when the club and NEEDS new faces, new ideas and yes
the demon INCOME.  (Since when is it BAD for a club to make money?)
Whether people like the fact the that Board and the Club
is trying to "GASP" make money, it is necessary.  If you don't believe it
I would like to direct them to the Budget and Finance report of the Jan
Board
meeting.
Also if we don't make money, get new people to join, and to participate,
there will be
no more club. That means you can kiss the Futurities, Maturities, GSDCA
Regional
Specialties, AOE, Selects and the National Specialty , etc...GOODBYE.
But maybe people forget this?
I am all about freedom of speech, but not in regards to a club  from the
naysayers
and Henny Pennys don't care enough to join. Usually the same tired opinions
from
the same tired group of NON members.. Those of them that are members,
awesome, and
God Bless the First Amendment!
Hope to see you all in Colorado!!!  Sending good thoughts and prayers to
all the people in CO .
