I've never seen the harm in this. Other countries have done it. We kept
whites in limbo, not allowing them to leave but not allowing them to
participate in the breed ring either. If we weren't going to allow them to
compete, why not allow them to go their separate way?
Do I want one.....nah. But I have to tell you I'm really fond of black and
tan and not too much else, although I do covet a pretty little sable gal
Iza has <G>. For her, I'd make an exception:)
Serioulsy, I think there are far greater problems in the world than a
group of dog enthusiasts wanting to promote and better their breed and prove it
in the breed ring.

In addition to voting against giving the Regional Clubs support from the
Purina Funds, Tish allowed a Breed altering vote for the White German
shepherd to take place after 7 board members had left on Sunday morning
at 11:30
am to catch flights home.
There were only 10 members left, 4 voted yes, 3 voted no and 3 abstained.
The VOTE WAS TO ALLOW THE WHITE GERMAN SHEPHERD TO SEPARATE AND BECOME
THEIR OWN BREED. It passed with 4 votes. This issue has been discussed
for
at least 6 years and always the Board rejected the idea of changing our
Standard or allowing the separation, not this Board with Tish as
President it
passed and our breed will change forever. How sad.
