I for one say Congratulations to the board for having the courage to do what
needed to be done. What was the point in keeping the white shepherd folks in
limbo for so long? Just because you could?
They have proven genetically you can tell the difference between a dog that
just happens to be white and a dilute. From what I've read most are breeding
the white dogs and not the dilutes. We all know with a dilute you can bring up
other recessive problems and from what I've read, going back decades now, that
was the big objection for disallowing whites. That objection is gone now, at
least with the responsible breeders. We all have backyard breeders in any
breed, I'm talking about the folks who have the best interest of the dogs at
heart.
So, my best wishes to the White Shepherd enthusiasts!
