White is not a fault on a bi-color. Some people do not want to see white on a German Shepherd at all. But it is not a fault. ********************** I agree: white on the chest is not a fault. It is MORE readily seen on a solid black or a bi-color. Forest is a bi (and she has a splash of white on her chest.) In additon to what others have said, a true bi-color will have that black "paintbrush" look up the back of the hocks, plus back penciling up the front of the toes. The head will be all black.
