I've had some people say "no tan on the face > or chest at all" and others say "a little tan on the cheeks is still a > bi-color". Which way is it?? I can't answer that, (although I suspect a bi wouldn't have tan on the cheeks)... but what about people who have what they call a black but the black has a some tan on his toes and hocks. Seems to me that a dog who is truely a black dog with a double recessive couldn't have tan of any amount...or could he?? Then also a black with a splash of white on the chest, this would be different than the tan, right? I've never had a black dog and don't aspire to, this is just something I've wondered about.
