What a thrill, honor, and HUGE surprise to win the first Joan Ford Memorial
award at this year's National!!
First thank you to Lee Brown for awarding our girl "Rihanna" -
Foxhaven-MyJoy's Good Girl Gone Bad of Windfall 1st in a very very competitive
Bred-by bitch class. It was a large, beautiful class of bitches. Thank you
also to Lee for strongly considering Rihanna in Winner's.
The last class of the day on Friday was for Best Bred-by under Mr. David Rinke.
Thank you Mr. Rinke for awarding our girl Best Bred-by at the National even
though she was determined to move at the speed of light by then LOL
As Lew stated during the presenation of this award, this win was extra special
as Rihanna is out of our boy Ch. Cade of Fran-Jo whom Joan & Fran gave us just
weeks before Joan's passing. It's funny how things come full circle and this
made our National and I hope Fran was proud.
Rihanna is just 14 months old and her dam is our "Taylor" - Joelle's Goldigger
of Jeseffan (Alvin x GQ daughter)
Her breeders are Jeff Pyle, Sean Bragg, Lena Bogdanich & Beverly Pyle-Scofield
Owners are Denise Fox, Joyce Willis, Jeff Pyle, & Nick Fedorow
I was also very excited to come home and discover that Taylor is very much
pregnant with the repeat of Rihanna!
