THIS IS EXACTLY THE KIND OF PERSON WE NEED IN OUR BREED. And I
did mean to scream. Let's invite these people to the party instead of
making them feel that they must pass a test.

I found it interesting that you said this. Take for instance our good
friend, who was treated so poorly...he is a really neat guy.
He is VERY intelligent, and knows engineering and the way things work and go
together, as well as most of us know the alphabet.
Interestingly this "newcomer" has a TREMENDOUS eye for correct movement and
structure. it is not
because he has been around dogs/ horses, but an innate talent, bolstered by
his understanding of engineering.
He amazed us the first time he came to a show with us, and picked out the
best movers (and worst) in each class and why. He didn't have the dog show
or dog "vernacular" down, but he SAW it, he GETS it.
I love that!!!!!!!!!
If any of you are at the shows near us, and see a big man with a big coated
male, his name is Sandy ....
he is quite a guy, has lots of questions, is eager to learn and LOVES OUR
BREED. He would love to meet everyone, I know. ....but I may be standing
guard for him, lolololool.
