Least we all forget, the temperament of our breed is ALOOF! They should not

be overly friendly toward a stranger.

When we got Patriot here, he showed me a temperament that I was not used to.
He would stand in a crowd, and people could pet him, and he would just look
straight ahead. It took him a long time to acknowledge me, but when he did,
then I was part of his world, But, everyone else, was landscape.

I know this is correct temperament, but I am not crazy for that attitude.
It is great on a dog I am judging, not so much on one I am living with.
