Hi All,
I just wanted to let every one know that Jerry (Markowitz) is fine. He had a
stroke last September 2006 and they had found that his carotid artery was
blocked. They had put a stent in the artery and have done routine ultra sounds
to make sure all was ok. The last ultra sound found that there was some
blockage starting to form in the stent, very unusual. They wanted to clear the
blockage so that Jerry would not have another stroke. It was a one day
procedure,
but it did require that he could not travel for a few days, and
unfortunately, this all happened when he was should have been judging the Bayou
KC. We
were very disappointed that we could not go, but after having one stroke, Jerry
did not want to have a 2nd. So Jerry is alive and kicking and doing fine!! I
told him the dog world will have him at death's door when the word got out
about the Judge change!!! LOL!!! So just want to set the record straight.
