I have learned never to say never, but I don't think I could ever debark a dog,
although I have had a few that I was seriously considering. : )?But when I hear
them it makes my throat hurt, I just can't take the raspy sound.? : )

Thanks all of you great folks. It is the NO BARK device and I'd mentioned that
in my first post.
However, not sure of the manufacturer so it could be the Tritronics jess
mentions. However, a
sure fire way to stop the barking was something the wonderful late E. J. Murphy
had to do for
all her dogs because of her location -- the "yikes" de bark surgery. As time
goes on there is a
return of some sound but it isn't a deep or loud one. Norma no L

Sounds like we are talking about the Barker Breaker? There is the hand-held
version which you can hit the
button and it emmits a sound that only dogs can hear or you have the kind
that
you can hang on the wall
and it goes off to any bark - also noiseless to the human ear. There are
multiple manufacturers for this
type of object.
I believe TriTronics has one and there are a couple of other ones on the web.
Stormy, if you figure out how to discourage barking, I know there are others
that would appreciate it.
My mom has a couple of barky dals and has resorted to everyone owning their
own personal no-bark collar.
All you have to do now is show it to the "suspect" barker (usually Coral) and
they all shut up immediately!
