This was explained earlier today… Evidently judges for obedience, rally, etc.,
must be scheduled 2 years in advance for some reason. (To make sure their
schedule is clear?). Anyway, I was told that because GSDCA doesn’t know where
they will be holding their show in 2017, it was not possible to schedule the
judges.
After thinking about it today, off and on, I realized that why should obed.
rally judges be concerned where the National will be. All their
transportation, etc., expenses are covered wherever they are. It is an honor
to judge a large National, and one would think that no matter where it was, the
obed./rally judge would be glad to be there.
Just an opinion, and I’m sure there are good reasons why this is.
