aka the BOSS.
He would balk and brace himself the minute he was made to pose for a camera and
he
always looked like a dog with no angles. No photo ever did him
justice.....you had to meet
him in 'person'.

There are some dogs that when you point a camera at them stiffen and you
can't get the curves to show. My Hermina comes to mind. For 7 years I tried to
get a photo of her that at least was close to what she was. I probably have
taken 2000 pics of Ruth and Hermine in a pissing match over the pose. Hermine
always seemed to win. :0)
There are many reason that there can't be good pics of a brood bitch. There
was no one to stack her at the time the picture was taken. The breeder waited
until after the pups were born and they wanted to market the litter so now they
have a saggy boobed bitch they want a killer shot of. The bitch herself isn't
high quality but consitanly produces it. Better to have a great head study of
her and pictures and pedigrees of the pups from other breedings. I would much
rather have a picture of a brood bitch playing with her pups or gating with a
toy then a poorly put together stacked shot.
How about we take a picture of both the sire and the dam standing 4 square
not posed. How many folks would know what they were looking at? The stack is
an illusion most of the time.

That is the truth! Ch. Windwalker's Quebec was one of the nicest dogs I ever
bred....He NEVER took a picture that really looked like him in real life.
Consequently, I could never advertise him. Better to not publish at all than
to
