[ SHOWGSD-L ] Bad Behavior At Dog Shows

Kathy.........now you now that there is a small percent of people who show dogs
and not just our breed. I am talking about showing dogs in general, who only
care about winning. They do not care about anyone else or their feelings. They
just say what they are thinking at that particular monent without looking
around or thinking. The only important thing is winning . It does not matter
who you hurt to get there. I love my dogs. Each and every one of them. I
really do not give a d#$% about what anyone else thinks of my dogs. I showed my
male in May. He had not been showed in almost two years. He is a very nice dog.
We were trying to build a major. It turned out to be only two points but he
looked so nice after his bath I wanted to see him in the ring. This was at the
Detroit specialty. He went out there and showed like he does it all the time
and won RWD. I was so proud of him. Everyone there was so nice to me and
clapped for him. It made me feel good. That is how other exhibitors are
supposed to act when someone else wins. But unfortunately we are talking about
the real world here. I for one will be happy to congratulate someone when their
dog wins. Sometimes people just need to keep their opinions to themselves.  I
think that I can probably guess who you are talking about with the bad manners
but of course will not because we are on a public list. I do know of a couple
of people out there your way who would display this behavior if their dog gets
beat. It is a dog show people. There are people out there with no place to live
and no food and we have people getting angry when their dogs get beat. They
need to grow up and get a f@#^$% #@ life in my opinion.
