Hello everybody!!
Well, you're thoughts and prayers sure worked!!! Thank you very much. My
daughter and I are doin' great! I'm almost afraid to say it out loud. I
don't want to jinx anything. My daughter's labs are getting better and
better. She's already in the normal range on some tests after less than 3
days. I can't believe they've released me so soon. Since they have to monitor
my daughter's new kidney constantly and watch for rejection, she must stay a
few more days. She's feeling quite good, though.
Now for those dogs of mine. I don't think they missed us at all. I heard they
all ate well and slept in my bed with my best friend as if nothing had
changed. I don't know what the heck I was so worried about. What is amazing,
though, is how they know you're hurt. I've got one female that CAN'T stay on
all fours no matter what! I think she has springs for legs, really. She has
been very subdued since I've been home and hasn't jumped on me once. Even the
Corgi hasn't tried to make one of her "accross the living room and into my lap"
pounces, Thank God! LOL I do need some "Cat Spray", though. My cat has
been on my lap every since I've been home. I don't have a clue what that is
all about. She is normally not that affectionate, and now I can't get rid of
her.... Even now, my laptop is on my lap, so that wierd cat is sleeping on top
of the puter case on the coffee table right next to me. Maybe she missed me
after all........
