The genetic study of LS, DM or any of the dreaded events that seem to hamper
our wonderful breed is the type of research we should all be supporting. Then
it might be possible to use DNA sawbs to identify the carriers. Remember the
VetGen request for HD? Was really difficult to get necessary participation
for the study.
Until the time we have DNA testing we will have to rely upon the stud dog
owners and breeders for truthful information and I like to think they all will
be
honest.
