Sorry Listers, but my first post had BSL in the subject, but I got so carried away with eggs & vinegar etc., I didn't mention what is happening here in B.R. about BSL - or - as it's called here "regulation) We've had some serious attacks on people & other dogs by Pits just within the last few weeks. One interesting thing about the attempt to ban the Pits came from someone saying that - of course - it's the owner of the dog who is really at fault & "all dogs can bite" so why pick on just one kind. Oh, they mentioned GSDs & Labs -- Thank you very much! New legislation and/or regulation would not hold up or what ever -- when (I like this one) - the rules on the books now aren't enforced properly -- Leash laws are for the safety of the animal itself & others for sure. A 3 yr. old girl in Colorado was sledding with her Mom and a Lab & Setter were just bouncing around in the snow and fell on her and BROKE HER COLLARBONE --- nice dogs, BUT big loose ones not even being watched closely by the owner, who just stood there -- HELLO Oh, well, I'd best shut up here or this'll be too long.
