In answer to Marie's question about what is a Pit Bull, that is actually
being challenged in courts right now. It was shown that given a number of
dogs,
identifying a "pitbull" couldn't happen. It also is shown that many dogs are
identified as pitbulls, when they may be Chows, mixes, etc. Identifying the
dogs as pitbulls leads to the hysterical response of the legislators anxious
to get their names in the paper.
Irresponsible owners, irresponsible parents are the problem, not the dogs.
Now I guess I'll try to rally the troops in southern California to bind
together with all dog owners to fight this latest siege. I know there are
lots of
them on this list, maybe they can go back to their clubs and push for a
United Front????? Wouldn't that be something?
