AMEN, I once heard a well respected judge sat it a little different but it
stuck! "Cut on breed type THEN judge on side gait." First and foremost if it
doesn't look like a GSD with proper body proportions, bone, substance and
overall quality it doesn't matter if it can move. As I'm so fond of saying -
an Afghan can have a beautiful forehand, move with suspension, AND do the
flying trot. It still doesn't make 'em a German Shepherd.
