You might want to do some home work before giving a dog  something different.
   
  The result you see is from ingesting too much bone without enough meat to 
balance it out.
   
  They should have 10 % bone  and 80% meat with any accompanying skin and 
connective tissue.
   
   If he is uncomfortable , give him some organ meats as this will loosen 
things up naturally.
   
  One of the perks of raw feeding is the occasional  hard stool that causes 
mild straining because this will express the anal glands naturally. 
   
  So next time he gets edible bone make sure there is enough meat with it.
   
  Bet he got a good tooth cleaning ;-))
