Thank you Evan, these were my thoughts exactly initially but then thought I was
being paranoid. Something does not smell right and I agree 100% with your post.
Voting for people we don't know is sure not the way to go and there are good
people on the slate to vote for who I believe, have our best interests at heart.

So, now we come down to it. We don't want the same old people who always get
elected. But, we don't want new people we don't know to be elected. We can't
have it both ways.
What has happened is some performance people have offered to run. This, being
a conformation list, will not know them all.
There are enough good people to vote for, and if you don't know what they will
do on the board, don't vote for them. When the performance people outnumber us,
they will run the club. That is how a democracy works.
