First off, where do you get that I am not passionate about this? I just think
that we have said just about all that can be said. If you read my post, it
clearly says that I was not in favor of Hunte being a member. I was at the
board meeting and I certainly care about the vote. It is just plain wrong to
accuse Mr. Hunte of donating money to the club without proof that he did...just
because he could doesn't mean he did. Just because I could shoot someone,
doesn't mean I did. As ridiculous as that sounds, it is the same fallacious
argument that you are making. That he is where he is because of his ability to
buy and promote a dog I can't argue that point at all. It has merit. Of
course there are some club members that produce mega litters in poor
conditions. Not any better than puppy mills in my opinion. Cynthia

If you are not..that is fine, but I think you are in the minority. If it
doesn't matter to you how the board voted..again, I think you are in the
minority.It would not be so hard to believe that Mr. Hunte, given his
resources could have offered a donation...whether he did or didn't doesn't
matter. what matters is if he did..or EVER does..the GSDCA should not
accept it.The alleged donation may be factual or a pure fiction at this
point I couldn't care less, however let's look at the big picture, that
being..Mr. Hunte got to this level because of "money" and "connections"..if
he were some dirt poor puppy mill breeder in BFE, MO..then no one would
blink an eye at keeping him out of the GSDCA..HOWEVER..because of his
affiliation with some more visible people in this sport and his financial
ability to buy and promote a dog from these more visible people..then
everything hunky dory.Christine

There have been lots of good ideas for solving this problem going forward
which I think will be worked on, and if many choose to boycot the board
members that voted him in, well, I think that is a very appropriate
suggestion. I just am not reading anything that offers a new perspective
