[ SHOWGSD-L ] BIG BRAG-Ch. # 4 for Strider

Today at the Sacramento Valley Dog Fanciers show under judge Carolyn  
Herbel, Winter Hawks Barking at Rohan HT won the Open dog class and  
went on to Winner's Dog and Best of Winners for his finishing major.   
Mr. B, as he is called, was beautifully shown by Junior Handler,  
Jessica Frentz who co-owns the dog with her grandmother Chriss  
Simmons.  He was bred by Chriss Simmons and Bobbie Kindy.

Not to be out done by her brother, Mr. B's littermate, Ch.  Winter  
Hawks Breakfast at Rohan, was Best of Breed in a quality filled  
specials class.  Ziva was shown by Chriss's daughter and Jessica's  
mother Stephanie Frentz.  Showing these dogs has been a "family  
affair" finishing these littermates without the help of any  
professional handlers.  These are their first show GSDs and I am so  
happy for them. Ziva is well on her way to her Grand Championship with  
having two major wins and multiple select points to her credit.    
Jessica also shows Ziva in Junior Showmanship and was Best Junior  
Handler at yesterday's shows. I believe she has 6 Best Juniors with  
Ziva this year.  Way to go Jess!!!

These two beautiful red sable kids are sired by GCh. Rohan's Reward  
TC,CGC,HT,RE,CDX (Sel. Am. & Sel. Can Ch. Witmer's Jamiroquai X Sel.  
Ch. Utopia's Blast From The Past) and Witmer's Frosted Toffee.  This  
gave Strider his fourth champion. He now has 4 champions, four  
qualifiers including one that is 2 pts away from finishing.  Thank you  
to both Chriss and Bobby for doing this breeding and to Chriss,  
Stephanie and Jess for  showing & finishing the two littermates.
