the computer about where the results are, you have time to call someone.
Since I was there, I can speak with knowledge about the show and the goings
on of the weekends events. A handful of people put on a 3 day show weekend
with 4 shows, it was a beautiful show site, the atmosphere was relaxed, the
ambience fantastic..and the food..no words to describe some of the great
restaurants we ate at, thanks to the local club members who were kind
enough to recommend some great dining spots and take us there!!! This
handful of club member had to deal with a few glitches, judges having
delayed flights, taking judges back and forth to the airport, dealing with
a couple of small hotel reservation issues, but everything was handled with
finesse. Exhibitors and judges alike felt that they were appreciated and
were treated with true southern hospitality.The club members were savvy
enough to contact Scott and Lauren and get them to bring the "Java" wagon,
and the sandwich's, smoothies and latte's were a big hit.These clubs with
the sparse membership, also orchestrated a club dinner on Sat. evening so
that exhibitors could get together and mingle a bit. I can attest to the
fact that with all that was going on exhibitors and club members alike
didn't get to bed until well past 11! Doesn't make for much time to post
results, now does it??? Furthermore, I understand one of these clubs was
resurrected from the ashes when the charter was turned over to the AKC. The
Booker's decided to take on the task of revitalizing the club..and this is
what they and others receive from a few who weren't there but felt
compelled to be critical because the frigging results weren't posted????
You should be kissing their butts that they cared enough to keep this club
going when other clubs are folding. You know I have to wonder..what is
wrong with you people..have you nothing better to do? If there is any
apology to be given it should be to the clubs and the membership that
worked their butts off to pull off a wonderful show weekend. Steve and I
would personally like to say "Thank You" for a wonderful fun filled
