[ SHOWGSD-L ] Awesomest weekend ever!

What an awesome weekend. In my 40 years in dogs I have never had such a
great weekend. At the Rocky Mt. GSD club specialties and GSDCA Regional
Specialty, Candia?s On Any Sunday (Kasey) went WD under Lew Bunch for a 3
point major, WD & BOW under Jamie Walker for a 3 point major then WD
under Frank Fasano for 2 points to complete his championship, pending AKC
confirmation. Kasey already had a 4 point major under Helen Gleason and
another 4 point major under Ken Tank. Kasey is bred by me and owned by
me on paper, but he is my daughter, Megan McCormick?s house pet. He is
sired by Ch. Hickory Hills Shock N?Ya?ll out of Candia?s Watch Me Tango.
Kasey was handled to these wins by Nancy McDonald.
I would like to thank the Rocky Mt. GSD club once again for taking care
of everyone so well. We got in Friday night to food set out for us at
the host hotel, then a huge spread of food and drinks on Saturday night.
However, I could have gone without the fire alarm and hotel evacuation at
2 A.M. Sunday morning! No one should be up cooking frozen pizza's at
that time anyway!
