I spoken to you over the phone regarding my friend's
German Shepherd. Below is information about "Benkei".
Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated, by
the way, we are in NJ.
Benkei is a five year old neutered german shepherd
looking for a good home. He has no known health
problems and is up to date on all of his vaccinations
(I will take him to get another physical exam before
he is adopted out). He is large (probably around
100lbs) and has very good temperament. He's quiet,
doesn't bark often, and is friendly to strangers. He
is well-trained and loves to follow you everywhere you
go. He loves attention and playing with people and his
toys. However, Benkei would prefer to not go to a home
with other pets. His previous owners have moved to a
place that does not allow pets, therefore are forced
to give him up. He has been temporarily fostered by
friends recently, but we can no longer take good care
of him and will soon be forced to place him in a
shelter. I really would love to see him go to a good
permanent home before taking him to a shelter but we
are running out of options. Anyone who might be
interested in this dog (even temporarily fostering him
until we find him a home or permanently keeping him)
