Hi all: I have heard its not good to have your carpets cleaned too often (like maybe more than once a year?) as it shortens their life. My carpets tend to get just basic "surface dirt" from dirty paws. It cleans right up with spot cleaning so it appears to just be on the top. Does anyone know of a good carpet cleaning machine to purchase that would be capable of just some light duty cleaning?? I really dont want something that is going to soak down into the pad, just surface cleaning for in between the professional job I have done annually. Thanks for the input!
